New shox team named Nakama
Fans of the competitive CS:GO community received an unexpected surprise today with the announcement of Richard “shox” Papillon’s new esports club, Nakama Esports. Shox revealed on Twitter that the team will be competing under the Nakama banner in the upcoming season.
While shox is in charge of business communication for the organization, additional information about the team remains under wraps. However, shox shared that Nakama Esports will start their competitive journey on the 27th of this month by participating in the IEM Brazil Open Qualifiers. The team aims to secure a place in the Paris Major in May, according to shox.
The current lineup for Nakama Esports includes Richard “shox” Papillon, Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux, Jeremy “Kursy” Gast, Ryan “Neityu” Aubry, Paul “day0s” Niel, and Boris “flex0r” Latry, who serves as assistant coach.
It will be fascinating to observe how the team performs with such a star-studded roster and what the future holds for Nakama Esports in the highly competitive CS:GO scene.
